Magnetic Building Blocks | Early Finisher Idea

I wanted to share with you something that is sure to be a hit in your classroom. These are some really fun magnetic building blocks my kids love to build with! This is a great idea for an early finisher center in the art classroom. As an art teacher, I’m sure you have encountered the situation (pretty much every day) that kids finish at all different times during the class period. Some of them work really quickly and others take days to finish the same project. I have all kinds of different ideas for my early finishers, which you can read about this recent blog post.

A fabric basket filled with various Minecraft-themed blocks and cubes, each displaying different textures and patterns, makes for a perfect early finisher idea. Add magnetic building blocks to enhance creativity and fun.

This year, I stumbled upon these awesome building blocks that my students have really enjoyed building with. My collection now has a combination of several different sets. Some I bought on Amazon and then others I picked up from a local person selling them very cheaply on Facebook.

The blocks are about 1 inch cubed. They feature different printed images and textures. Some of the sets look like they are inspired by various video games, which the kids love!

Check out this basic set here. (Amazon Affiliate link used at no extra cost to you – the small amount of money earned goes towards maintaining this blog). This particular brand has boxes to check on the Amazon page to receive a coupon discount- make sure to check that to bring down the price. There is also this cherry blossom set which is cute. As I said earlier, I have several sets that are all mixed together. So, if you want to see the different varieties, you can check out many of the different magnetic sets here. You can also search for magnetic blocks on Amazon and there are many compatible sets, just make sure the measurements are the same size.

Magnetic Building Blocks are arranged in rows, showcasing various patterns and characters like brick, pizza, and crown designs. Perfect as an Early Finisher Idea to inspire creativity and imagination.
A variety of colorful cube toys with pixelated designs resembling characters and patterns are stacked in rows on a white surface, offering a perfect early finisher idea for creative play.
A collection of Minecraft-themed stacking cubes with various character and item designs, these magnetic building blocks make for a perfect early finisher idea. Arrange them in rows to create unique structures and spark creativity.

Hope you find my product recommendations helpful. I only recommend things that I use and enjoy!
