Grabie 100 Watercolor Set: My New Favorite

As you may know, I have a little collection of watercolor sets and I love trying out new ones. Previously, my all-time favorite watercolor set was the Sakura Koi travel set. It was just so portable, handy and the colors are vibrant. When I saw this new set by Grabie, I was intrigued and wanted to try it out. 100 yummy colors! Grabie sent me a sample to try out and review for the blog. I was NOT disappointed! (Amazon Affiliate links have been used at no extra cost to you. To start with, the packaging on these watercolors is beautiful and creative.

The Grabie 100 watercolor set features color sheets, brushes, and a case, all elegantly packed in a box with a vibrant floral design on a white surface. Perfect for artists who want to keep their favorite tools stylishly organized.

Then, you open up the set. LOOK AT ALL THE COLORS! It comes with 3 water brushes, a color swatch sheet, a sponge, pencil and sharpener.

Discover the Grabie Watercolor Set, a favorite among artists. This exquisite collection features 100 vibrant watercolor paints in a sleek metal case, complete with paintbrushes, a colorful floral box, and a blank watercolor sheet ready for your creativity to unfold.

The water brushes are like any of the other typical water brushes I’ve tried. You twist off the top and then fill it with water. The water can be squeezed out of the brush. I could not get the brushes open at first, but then I realized my “righty tighty, lefty loosy” mantra was not working. They open the opposite of that. Minor detail though!

The color range is amazing! And I just LOVE that “Pink” color and “Purple”. There is one color called “Brilliant Green Purple” which I’m not so sure about. What does that even mean?? The neons are pretty bright and the metallics are lovely with a subtle iridescent shine.

A hand exhibits a swatch sheet featuring an array of labeled paint colors, from vibrant hues to metallic shades, all meticulously arranged in rows. Among them, the favored tones are from the Grabie 100 Watercolor Set, offering a rich palette for any creative endeavor.

All in all, I am a big fan of this set. I honestly have found no major drawbacks to this set. Check it out here: Grabie 100 Color Set
