Here is a yearlong elementary art lesson guide with lots of my favorite projects sorted by grade level. Each one links to a picture, blog post or lesson plan to help you get an idea of what the lesson is about. I’m posting this to help other people, because I know as a new teacher I felt overwhelmed trying to come up with lessons for every grade level constantly!
This is a rough outline of projects I love to do at different grade levels. It is NOT written in stone. I make changes all the time to my yearly plans depending on student interests, collaborations with other teachers and new projects I want to try. I see my students twice a week for 40 minutes, and we do not go through all these projects in one year.
