Open House Idea for Art Class

At our Back to School night we have parents come in to meet the teachers, learn about curriculum and find out all about the school! This year, as the parents came in to my room, I asked them to answer these questions:

Why is art important? &

Why should people study art?

I left out blank sticker labels and Sharpies for the parents to answer the questions. Afterwards I stuck all of the answers to paper for a quick bulletin board!

Poster titled "Why Should People Study Art?" with responses written around it, against an orange background, ideal for an Art Class or Open House event.

Handwritten notes about the value of art are attached to an orange board with colorfully patterned tape, creating an inspiring display for the Open House.

Sticky notes on a wall with motivational phrases about creativity, beauty, technology, science, and inspiration fill the room during the Open House.
Sticky notes with handwritten messages such as "Share perspective" and "It brings beauty to the world" against a sky backdrop, perfect for an Art Class or Open House.
