You may have heard me mention Pipsticks before. I love stickers. One of my dreams is to own a toy/craft/art supply/STICKER store. Who knows if that will happen some day, but I have always loved stickers! When I was a kid, I even made up a (short-lived) club called Sticker Maniacs.
They are fun to use in art journals and to stick all over greeting cards.
You’ve seen those toy unboxings on YouTube right? Today, I am going to do an envelope opening of the monthly Pipsticks sticker subscription. I have subscribed for awhile and it’s always nice to get fun mail in the mailbox instead of bills!
Here is the interesting envelope that came in the mail this week.
I opened up the green envelope and inside it a shimmery metallic envelope filled with my goodies. Pippy is their monthly newsletter with tidbits about the company and sticker-related things. It always comes with a raffle ticket for that months raffle. They announce the prize winner in the next month’s newsletter. So far, I haven’t won anything. Maybe my day will come soon. The envelope always comes with a pre-stamped postcard for you to decorate and mail off.
The stickers are “carefully curated” for the sticker lover. I get the Pro Pack. There is also a kids’ version.
The theme this month seems to be an outerspace theme. There are several metallic sheets, some stars and some planets. The theme is interesting, because it seems like there are some that definitely fit and then just some other random sticker sheets. Which is fine, I don’t need a theme.
Here are more planets, constellations, UFOs, and pastel planetary stickers.
Then we’ve got some volcanoes, tape strips (looks a little celestial), then some bears…
I generally like the subscription a lot. It’s fun to open each month and see what you get. Like all subscription packs, you pay for the element of surprise. If I went and searched out all these stickers, you could probably find them cheaper. But, they always seem to find hip and contemporary stickers, and I haven’t really seen these out for sale in other places. They usually have mostly small sized stickers. It would be nice to have some bigger ones as well.
What do you think? Have you ever tried a subscription service for a product?
