Hi friends!
Thank you all for your amazing support of my blog and my shop. You have no idea what it means to me! I love reading your comments on my blog posts.
Like I mentioned earlier this week, I am part of the huge sale at Teachers Pay Teachers this MONDAY and TUESDAY– Nov. 28 and 29 ONLY. Many sellers are participating and nearly all of my products are 20% (the only thing not included is the Growing Art Teacher Bundle, because that is already an amazing deal). For additional savings of an extra discount on everything, use the coupon code: CYBER2016 for a total of up to 28% off site wide. I have a lot of wonderful art resources for art teachers! I only do sales a few times a year, so now is a great time to buy products you may have been wanting.
First, I have a BRAND NEW Principles of Art Sketchbook, which is a follow-up to the popular Elements of Art Sketchbook that came out earlier this fall. This has easy-to-understand descriptions and interactive activities for the students to do based on the principles of art. Many famous artworks are shown to illustrate the principles.
Here is the Elements of Art Sketchbook I was just talking about. Of course, I wouldn’t fill a whole class with worksheets. These are just options for you to select from, good for warm-ups at the beginning of class or sub plans. They are meant to be short activities to make sure you cover all of the elements and principles throughout a child’s years at your school. Please don’t have kids do worksheets for many classes– they need to get MESSY! These are great for quick filler activities and to introduce an element or principle.
My Art History Prompt sets have also been very popular! These are great starting points for beginning artworks. All of the cards are meant to introduce kids to famous and influential artworks in bite-size chunks. After reading the card, they will create an artwork in response based on the prompt. They are open ended and leave plenty of room for creativity!
These are 26 Alphabet Art activities in a printable sketchbook format perfect for kindergarten and 1st grade. They can be used as a booklet or individual activity sheets.
Are you struggling to know what to say when you have discussions about artworks in art class? These cards are perfect for coming up with interesting discussion questions on the spot when talking about art history or class critiques.
These same questions are available as a package of signs to put on a bulletin board!
Finally, do you need some fresh decor for your room that is brightly colored, but ALSO educational and thought-provoking? I have some of these hanging in my room and the signs have started many impromptu conversations about a range of diverse artists. Students will expand their ideas about what an artist can be and what an artist does! They are also great for art advocacy at art shows!
If you got this far, thanks for reading my blog! I hope you take advantage of the sale and THANK YOU all for your incredible support over the past years of blogging! I appreciate all of my readers even if you don’t spend a penny at my shop.
After this, I promise for the next couple of months to put out many more blog posts that are NOT sales-related, and just plain good FUN art projects for your students!!!
