Pick and Draw Game

Experience the joy of Pick and Draw, a fun and engaging drawing game featuring a quirky cartoon pencil. Perfect for kids and adults alike. Just $10!

Hello friends,

I hope you’ve had a good holiday break so far and a happy new year.  You may have noticed one of my affiliate links on the side of my blog, which is Pick and Draw.  I only tell you about things I have used and trust myself.  I wrote about these cards a few years ago and I decided that since it’s been a few years, there are probably new teachers out there who haven’t heard of these cards.

The aim of the game is to draw cartoon faces.  There are different cards for the shape of the face, the mouth, the nose, the eyes and hair.  There are many different ways you can play, but the way I have played with my students is to set the cards out and let them choose which shapes appeal to them.  Some choose randomly and others pick ones they like.

The kids keep selecting cards to complete a face.  When finished with one, they can draw more or color them in.  I encourage the kids to add their own creativity into the drawings.

A collection of various hand-drawn faces with different hairstyles and expressions.

This has been a fun game to have for days when I set out centers or for free choice time.  Click on the images below to check out the Pick and Draw website and to order your copies.

The links Rich Davis sent me included these below.  I just ordered the Pick and Draw Activities paperback because it looks interesting to me.  It says they are out of stock, but I received an update that it will be mailed soon.  So, if you order the book it probably won’t take too long.  (Maybe they are print on demand?)  Or, if you are into reading on a Kindle, they have the digital version for sale too.  I just prefer to have an actual physical book in my hands.
