Creativity Banner

A woman and a child hold a vibrant banner that reads "Let your creativity SOAR!" in a backyard with a small dog nearby.

I was approached by a representative from Build a Sign to review a product from their website.  They have a variety of types of signs (metal, vinyl, etc.) and also things like bumper stickers, magnets and license plates.  I chose the 3 foot x 6 foot vinyl banner!  I thought it would be fun to make a banner for my art room and also to hang up when we have an art show at school.

I used the feather and “soar” because we are EAGLE School.

Pros:

  • The quality of the sign is exactly what I’d expect.  I don’t know how it will stand up outside but I am planning to hang it indoors.  I like it!
  • The website was very easy to use and I didn’t have any problems.
  • You can upload a completely unique design of your own or use the pre-made templates to customize with your own words and clip art.
  • The price is fairly inexpensive.  For a 3′ x 6′ banner, it only costs $38.20 (without grommets.)  Add grommets for an extra $6.99.  Shipping is free on many items.

Other notes:

  • The clip art on the website is just okay.  As an art teacher, I’m guessing you might want to make your own designs.  I made my design in Photoshop and then uploaded it.
  • I forgot to click the grommet option, so now I’m not sure how to hang it.  Maybe tacks?  Don’t forget to order either the grommets or tabs.
  • The standard delivery took about 2 1/2 weeks.  I was not in a rush, so not a big deal.  It’s just something to keep in mind when ordering.

Overall, I am pleased with the banner!  I would recommend the company to a friend.

Colorful feather with text: "Let your creativity SOAR!" against a vibrant, multicolored sign.

Disclosure:  I was given the product free for review on my blog.  The opinions are my own.
