I haven’t done one of these for awhile and I’ve been coming across all kinds of fabulous things to share with you.
- I was reviewing this Youtube video again for planning projects and I just LOVE this “note to self” by Chuck Close. If you teach about Chuck Close, this is great to show your students. CBS This Morning: Artist Chuck Close Writes Note to Younger Self
- Great money & future planning advice for high schoolers from the Simple Dollar, a blog I enjoy reading about practical financial advice.
- Look at these cool Barcode Redesigns from “Experiments in Art Education.”
- These adorable photographic portraits of well-loved stuffed animals.
- I think these cartoon deconstruction collages from Mrs. Knight’s Smartest Artists are fabulous!
BONUS Fabulous Things:
- Check out our Featuring Magazine Campaign BLOG. There is a short blurb about me on the team page.
- I am reading this really engrossing book called House Rules, by Jodi Picoult. On one hand it is an intriguing read.. a murder mystery with a boy who has Aspergers Syndrome as the prime suspect. On the other hand, it is also good to read as a teacher because it has helped me to understand how someone with Aspergers views the world. Jodi Picoult is my favorite author and if you are looking for a good book I have enjoyed every single one that I have read by her.

Saw the video with Chuck Close last week and pinned it for future use!
Loved it! I agree the cartoon deconstructions are awesome! I purchased your art discussion cards on TPT, Love them! I laminated and cut them out, punched a hole in each and have them hanging by my SmartBoard where we look at art. Thank you!!! 🙂
Thanks, Mrs. C! I’m glad you like the discussion cards! Thanks for commenting on my post 🙂
