Clay Suns– third grade

A cheerful Clay Sun with a yellow face and red spots, made from clay and paint by a third-grade class, sits on a gray surface.

I told you I had a bunch of lesson plans that I have not shared with you yet.  I have enough to take me through the whole summer!  Here are some simple clay suns.  We looked at some pictures of the Metapac clay suns.

A third-grade clay sculpture painted to resemble a yellow sun with orange spots and a face with eyes, mouth, and spiked rays.

Colorful Clay Sun with a smiling expression, painted in yellow with red cheeks and blue accents, perfect for a third grade art project.
