After school class

I am teaching an after school art class for two sessions.  We are painting abstract paintings on canvas with acrylic paints!

In an after school class, children are hand painting an abstract design with blue, yellow, orange, and pink shapes, including a flower, on white paper.

We are also experimenting with spray inks and stencils!  Next session, we are going to finish our abstract paintings and then add designs to our sprayed pictures to tie them together.

    Looks like fun!

Is this a volunteer thing, or do kids pay to take the class or what? I'm curious because I'm looking ahead to my future and making plans.

  2. Marcia says:

I do charge for supplies and for my time. It works out for a little extra money!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
