Clay Camp for Kids– Week Four– Clay People

Two clay figurines sit on a paper plate, one with long hair and the other wearing a pointed hat, resembling characters crafted at Clay Camp by kids.
These are my examples above.  I think I’m going to paint them and make an assemblage out of them.
Clay People in various abstract sitting positions are placed on a table, creating an engaging display.

At Clay Camp for Kids, a clay figure with a hat lies on a tray, resembling a person with four limbs and facial features.
One child’s elf figure
Small clay figure of a person with a pointed hat sitting in a white bowl, reminiscent of creations from Clay Camp for Kids.
I made this little guy and put him in a bowl to support his back.  One of the kids said he looks like he is sitting in a hot tub!  cute!

We made clay people today in Clay Camp!

I love the elf in the hot tub! It does get cold in the North Pole. Love your blog too! It is awesome. The colors and style make me want to be in your class!

I really enjoyed your blog too. It's so fun to get ideas from other art teachers. Your in progress painting is very cool too, beautiful colors.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
