HELP! I bought about 5 boxes of a certain economical brand of neon paint and raw edged Brown paper for students to create Mexican ” bark paintings”. OH MY WORD…….THE neon paint looks very dull on the brown paper and not even great on white paper. Maybe if added white to the paint but I’m low on white. Wow…..I didn’t know economy neon paint would be so bad. I guess using regular paint might work. Anybody else have this experience?? Or any ideas?
What brand did you buy? I suppose you could add white to it in order for it to have more coverage, but it will lighten the color.
Hi Marcia,
Yes I would add white but I’m low on it. I’ll try using my regular paint and see instead of the neon paint AND try painting a second coat to see if that helps the neon colors. I bought School Smart from School Specialty.
Hi Marcia,
About a month ago I added my blog here but don’t see it listed in elementary teachers. http://www.ColorSplashTeach.blogspot.com
