Art is Basic was created to help teachers, parents and other adults who work with children to provide creative art experiences.

Content from Art is Basic may not be republished or redistributed in any way without prior permission from the owner whether for free or commercial purposes.

Content from Art is Basic may be used for personal, classroom use. No parts of the Art is Basic website may be repurposed for commercial use or resold at any time. You may not claim these files as your own or alter the files and share them. You may not store or distribute the files on any other website where others are able to electronically retrieve it (for example: shared Dropbox, Facebook groups, Google Drive, etc.). If you would like to share from Art is Basic, please share the direct link to the content.

May I use or print off copies of resources for my students to use? Yes!

May I reference Art is Basic content in my professional development workshop? Yes! Please direct attendees to my website. Do not redistribute files unless given permission. Special exceptions may be made, please contact me.

May I use content/worksheets/files for my personal business? Yes, but limited only to the actual teaching in a studio, school or non-profit setting (no online courses). Files and content may not be resold online or used in part or whole for your online sales (for example, no copying pictures and using them as part of something you will sell) or printed and sold in person. Files may not be compiled and sold as part of a “Google Drive” or given away to gain followers (including all of my free content). Please contact marcia@artisbasic.com with any specific questions related to this.

May I post worksheets or content to my online learning system for my school? Yes, but only for a specific class, not a district-wide system.

May I upload or post Art is Basic content to social media groups, file sharing sites or my own website to share with other teachers? I am always happy when people share about my website. Please direct others to go to my website to get the content.

May I post your content to my website? Please obtain prior permission. Permission will be granted on a case-by-case basis.

May I reference your content on my blog? Absolutely! Please include a link to Art is Basic.

Can I translate or adapt content from Art is Basic to repost online or sell? Probably no, but please contact me for specific requests. Special permission may be given to educational institutions.

Limitation of Liability

1) Art is Basic does not accept any liability for any loss of profits, loss of business or business opportunity, loss of goodwill or reputation, business interruption, loss or corruption of data or programs or any type of indirect or consequential loss whatsoever arising from your access to and use of the site.

2) In no event will Art is Basic be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with any use of the site, any material published on it or of any services.

3) No assurances are given that the pages of the sites are free from infection from computer viruses, although Art is Basic takes all reasonable steps to prevent such infection. This website is monitored by Sucuri for malware.
