I have been busy making art. Most of it ends up being scrapbook type pages or random collages. Here are two examples. I’m SO excited.. my sister-in-law gave me her old sewing machine that she never uses. It is a huge improvement on my other sewing machine that didn’t work! And here’s Daria in her elephant Halloween costume!

I’m in love with painting tiles and making tiles from Sculpey. I just tried making Sculpey tiles this week and wow, was it fun!! I got the idea from Laurie Mika’s book Mixed Media Mosaics. I got the idea for painting tiles from Artsyville.
The full collage/doodle Detail Detail Detail– I almost like the details more, because they are cropped more tightly. 🙂 Speaking of doodles, this is a very fun book for kids. I have this in my classroom and sometimes kids will take it out in their free time. It is small, pocket-sized, but has a lot of pages. I also enjoy this book, which is fun for scrapbookers.
