Knitted Balls

A red and white knitted ball with a yarn tail on a green surface adorned with leaf patterns.

I really like to knit, but I’m not that skilled at it.  I would say I’m probably an intermediate level knitter.  I’m not good at precise things, and many times I’ll be knitting something and end up with extra stitches or something will look wonky.  So, when I found these knitted balls, I got really excited.  So many possibilities!  Christmas ornaments?  Dog toys?  Toys for my toddler?  A bowl of balls for a decoration?  I really want to make 1000 … Read more…

What’s Your Hang-Up?

Fall collage

A vibrant abstract collage showcasing fall leaves, intricate lace patterns, and a variety of color stripes within a green-framed square.

Acrylic paint, watercolor paint, stencils, foam stamps, muslin fabric, fake leaf, spray paint The best part about being an art teacher?   Being able to play around with art materials all day to test out new things! Does anyone know if there is any “safer” spray paint that kids can use that doesn’t have fumes?
